Anco Software started publishing titles (Atlantis, Flight Path 737, House of Usher and more) on the VIC 20, Commodore 64 and the Spectrum in 1982 when there was only a handful of software publishers.

As a small independent developer, the company continued to exist for many years, but unfortunately had to close its doors when Anco owner Anil Gupta passed away on May 20, 2003.

The most famous gametitles that ANCO developed was the Kick Off and Player Manager-series.
