The 2006 World Cup took place in Rickmansworth, London, on October 28th/29th.

50 people battled for the title this year, and despite the absence of the three times winner Gianluca, it was not going to be easy as most of the Kick Off top guns were there.

Before the semi-finals began, it looked like the title was going to Italy for the fourth consecutive time, as three out of the four semi-finalists were Italians. However, Spyros Paraschis had not said his last word, and managed to win the title after an amazing performance! He defeated Mario Fichera in the final, while the big favourite of the tournament Gianni Torchio settled for the bronze medal and the Top Scorer trophy. James Beard won the Best Defense award.
